There are many types of tents that are available in the market. Tents are usually bought in order to the specification of the customer and the requirement of the people that will be residing in the tent. Tent types can be differed by means of the size, material, and weather condition, strength, set up and other features.
The size of the tent is based on the number of people that can occupy it. The size is ranked by the amount of people that is can sleep with room to place your things without any congestion. Another important feature is the material of the tent.
Tents should be made of good materials generally polyester, nylon or the cotton canvas. Nylon is a light weight material that is usually recommended for people who go for short trips for a vacation. Polyester material helps in protecting from the heat absorption that emits from the sun. Cotton canvas is the most advisable tent material it will hold up for a long time and is considered the best for durability.
Weather is another condition that is to be noticed keenly. Tents should be strong enough to with hold any kind of weather condition let it be a heavy winter, heavy rainy season or summer season. Tents should suit well for all weather conditions.
An equally important feature is tent strength which is based on the materials that supports the tent to stand well. Pitching a tent should be easy and not time consuming. One of the types of the tents is an A-frame tent which is often known as a traditional tent. A-frame tents have a good weather protection shield and they have the big advantage of an extra head room for everyone to walk around freely without any neck or back strain. Cabin tents are usually very heavy. Cabin tents are also difficult to setting up or pitch.
Tunnel tents have 2 or more poles which is notable for its space. The tunnel tents have a shape that provides more space inside. Hoop tents are tents that have curved poles at each end of the tent. While single hoop tents are light weight and has one large hoop and usually accommodates only one or two persons. Dome tents are good because they are easy to assemble and they have two or more poles and they have a large space inside.
