Here is where you can learn all about tents! The most common type of tent material is nylon. Nylon is popular because of its light weight, compact, waterproof design. Nylon tents come in all shapes and sizes including dome, A-frame, hoop and wedge and they can accommodate 1 to 12 or more people. The ease of pitching a nylon tent will vary from one style to another but they are all usually pretty easy to set up even when setting up by yourself. Another notable trait to nylon tents is what the poles are constructed of. some nylon tents have fiberglass poles while others have heavy duty steel poles, and some will use a combination of the two. Again there is advantages to both. Fiberglass is flexible and light weight and work great in windy climates. Steel poles are stronger and are able to hold more weight especially good for snow that my build up on the roof of the tent.

Canvas is another popular tent material that is used in tent construction. canvas is very durable for longterm use and is extremity resistant to the elements. A big downfall to canvas is the weight, some thens weighing upwards of 50 pounds. canvas tents also come in many construction types including Montana wall tent, flex-bow, and spike style tents. Canvas tents will always utilizes steel poles because Fiberglas is not strong enough to hold up the weight of the fabric. The only exception to this rule is that of spike tents because if applicable you can tie a rope to a tree to hold up the roof, in which case no poles are needed.

If you are not completely comfortable with traditional tents there is a solution for you. A campervan is the best alternative. Campervans are mobile always and you can stop anywhere you want and where you feel you are comfortable with. Choosing the right camper van is the best decision that you can make if you are exploring the world around you. If you feel a campervan is expensive for you then you can definitely go for other options like camper/tent trailers. Camper vans are usually motorized and can be moved anywhere based on personal comfort.
There are various types of camper vans to choose from; 4wd campervan, 2 berth campers, ¾ berth campers, and 6 berth campers are some of the types of camper vans available. One can choose the campervans based on their need and the geographical location that they are planning to explore.

4wd campers are a type of campervan which offers home comfort to all travelers. You should choose this if you feel you would want to go camping off the road. 4wd campers are usually small in size and can accommodate around 4 people. People can either sleep inside the vehicle or on top of the vehicle. 4wd campers also have long range fuel tanks, fridge, stove, some of them even can accommodate a solar shower.
Two berth campers can either be a usual pop top vans which can accommodate a convertible bed with basic cooking and living furniture or a complete van with toilet and shower facility and a complete cooking vicinity with micro wave ovens and air conditioning. Three and four berth campers follow the list of campers ascending in size. Three or four berth can accommodate 3 to 4 adults comfortably. Most of the campers contain all the facilities which might include a double bed, toilet and shower facilities, complete kitchen area furnished with cooking things. For extra fees there are even options for stereo and television systems.
Six berth campers are the next in size up after three and four berth campers. There are the larger motor homes. When you feel you need a complete family holiday camper then you should go with one of these bad boys. If you feel you need a luxurious and isolated place for your family or friends then your choice would be six berth campers. Six berth campers are like a home away from home. You are going to get whatever you need as you would in your own house. You don’t have to compromise on any comforts. Six berth campers would provide all the facilities of a four berth camper such as completely furnished space for cooking, double bed for sleeping, separate living space, completely furnished toilets and a shower area. You could even have television and stereo provisioned in your living space. The only difference between a six and a four berth is that six berth would be more spacious than a 4 berth.
